Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data Judge me collects, why, how it is protected, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights. It applies to the Judge me website and application.

1. Data controller

Judge me is published and operated by Pole Position Market LTD (registration 614262), which is the controller of the data described below.

For any question or request about your personal data: web@pole-positionmarket.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data: email address, display name, language, profile picture, internal identifier, sign-up date, subscription plan and token balance.

Google sign-in: if you choose "Continue with Google", we only receive the basic information Google passes on to create your account (email address, name, profile picture). We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts or any other Google data.

Published content: the photos and videos you submit (stored privately), description, category and diffusion length; the scores per criterion, comments and votes you leave; the reports you send.

Profile verification: the selfie taken live, the profile recognised, the confidence score and the verification result.

Payments: tokens purchased, plan and subscription status, transaction identifiers provided by Stripe. No card data is collected or stored by Judge me.

Preferences: age confirmation for 18+ categories, notification settings, interests and chosen language.

Technical data: connection logs, IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and error messages.

3. Why we use this data

To provide the service (create your account, publish, judge, show your results): performance of the contract.

To moderate content, prevent fraud and abuse and enforce the terms of use: legitimate interest.

To verify your profile with a selfie and open access to 18+ categories: consent.

To bill tokens and subscriptions and keep accounting records: performance of the contract and legal obligations.

To send the notifications you enabled: your settings and, where applicable, your consent.

To improve the platform and measure its use in aggregate: legitimate interest.

4. Google data and Limited Use

Judge me's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In practice: that information is used only to create and authenticate your account and to display your name and profile picture. It is never used for advertising, never sold, never used to train or improve generalised AI models, and never shared with third parties other than the technical providers listed in section 5.

No team member reads that information unless you explicitly authorise it, the law requires it, or it is needed for security reasons (for example an attempted fraud).

5. Sharing with providers

Hosting, database, authentication and transactional email: Base44.

Payments and subscriptions: Stripe.

Comment analysis and selfie verification: an artificial intelligence provider acting on our behalf.

We never sell, rent or trade personal data, and never pass it to advertisers or data brokers.

It may be disclosed to competent authorities where the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers may process data outside the European Union. Those transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention

Account and content: for as long as your account is active. Content whose diffusion has ended leaves the feed, and your content is erased together with your account.

After account deletion: associated data is erased within 30 days, except accounting documents.

Technical logs: 12 months. Billing documents: 10 years, as required by law.

Reports: kept for the time needed to handle them and to keep a record of moderation decisions.

8. Security

Your photos and videos are stored in a private space, reachable only through temporary signed links reserved for judging members. Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), payment keys stay server-side, and access to data is limited to people who need it.

No system is infallible: if an incident affected your data, we would inform you within the timeframes set by the regulations.

9. Your rights

Depending on your situation, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object and port your data, as well as to withdraw your consent at any time.

Most of it can be done directly from your profile, or by writing to web@pole-positionmarket.com. We reply within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

10. Deleting your account and your data

The My profile page has a "Delete my account" button: it erases your account, requests, photos, videos, votes and comments, and ends your subscription.

The operation is permanent and a confirmation email is sent to you. If you can no longer sign in, write to us from the email address of your account to request deletion.

11. Cookies and local storage

Judge me uses no advertising cookies and no third-party profiling trackers. The service relies on browser local storage to keep your session and remember your language and display preferences.

Audience measurement, when enabled, uses aggregated data and is not used to profile you.

12. Minors

Judge me is reserved for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about minors. If such content is reported to us, it is removed and the account concerned is deleted.

13. 18+ categories and sensitive content

Categories marked "18+" require age confirmation and paid access. Their content follows the same rules of private storage, limited diffusion and deletion as the rest of the platform.

14. Artificial intelligence

Comments may be analysed automatically before publication to detect prohibited language, verification selfies are compared by an image analysis model, and Premium subscribers receive a summary written automatically from the opinions received.

These processes assist moderation and information; they do not produce automated decisions with legal effect. You may contest a moderation decision by writing to the contact address.

15. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect a change in the service or in the regulations. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with its update date.
